The beef isn't a sustainable choise, because producing it produces CO2 and methane, which are one of the most damaging green house gasses.

Moreover, the animals often have bad conditions in their shelter and the meat doesn't stay eatable for a long time. therefore the meat is often packaged in plastic which cannot be recycled and ends up in the landfill. In addition, you need much area to produce it: both for the plants the animals eat, and for the animals.

Honey is a great sustainable product. It is often sourced by local beekeepers. Honey can be produced anywhere where flowers grow. It is sourced by honeybees who fly from flower to flower to drink the nectar. During this they pick up pollen which drops onto other plants. Those plants get fertilised and produce new seeds and fruit. Bees are vital helpers to aid in keeping our food chain intact and help out the local ecosystem by maintaining biodiversity!

While walking in a foodmarket, we saw local mushrooms. We think that mushrooms are a sustainable option to buy, because the mushrooms don't require farming. You just go to the forest and pick them up!
